On the 17/10/22 I decided to take the plunge and have a gastric sleeve surgery. I wanted to create a space where I could honestly report and reflect on my journey following this life changing surgery. Being only 26 years old, I couldn’t find many blogs out there which truly explained the process of having the surgery, so thought a blog would be a perfect idea!

Whether you are considering having bariatric surgery, are going through the process/waiting to have surgery or whether you have already had surgery I hope this blog reflects the good, the bad and the ugly sides of bariatric/ weight loss surgery !
